I really didn't like the place. We went on a week night to check out the restaurant for a business meeting. We were seated in the empty diningroom (quiet night), no candles were lit, probably to save $$ for the business. However, if they are going to save on the candle bill, atleast light them at a table where you seat a party. I looked down where I set my purse and there were dead crickets on the floor (YUK!). My food was only fair, I had eggplant parm. and it was full of pasty textured ricotta (and I like ricotta!). My partner had a better dinner, but not good enough to return. We noticed there were no private areas for business meetings so we crossed it off the list for that, and truthfully crossed it off the list for returning. There are far better Italian restaurants in Scottsdale. The service was okay, not terrible but not attentive, late on refilling water, etc.

I travel to Phoenix for business and a client suggested Benedetto's. It was surprisingly high quality Italian. The pasta was al dente (not overcooked) and the atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Not your run of the mill chain Italian place. I recommend the calamari appetizer and the Penne Benedetto. Was there for business dinner and would like to return with my wife - highly recommend. No issues with the service - very pleasant and prompt

Great Place, Excellent Food and Service, You could not ask for a better experience than this it is a bit tough to find ( same Plaza as Zipps & El Paso) and Monday the Construction was a bit rough at the intersection but this had nothing to diminish the wonderful Experience the Owner and Brenda our server Provided for us. We Met up with friends that we had not seen for some time and they too agreed that the food had to be right up there with the best Italian in the area. We Had the Calamari & antipasti as appetizers, The Calamari was absolutely wonderful and the Plate of Anti Pasta was Excellent as well ..for Dinner Between us all we had The Penne Benedetto, Lamb,Veal Parm & The Osso Bucco ....they were all excellent dishes and prepared to perfection, For Dessert ...carrot cake and something we never heard of before Gooey Butter Cake ...it was very rich but very tasty as well, This is one Little Neighborhood Place we will be back to for sure Great food and ever better service

Just a very nice small italian place ....old world Charm has a very European feel to it , Wonderfull food and excellent service , we are from NY City and just moved here a few months ago ....this is REAL Italian ....this is not chain food ....we will be back ...and often
