I should have known better than to trust a business that offers a "Military discount"...that turns out to be $10 off a $1400 rental. Why bother? The only reason to pitch the $10 discount is to say they offer a Military discount - without having to put any skin in the game. That's just flat out disrespectful. Don't offer it if you don't mean it. We decided to go with them anyway...best rental rates that we found. Big mistake. Upon pick-up, we specifically asked if we could purchase insurance from them. The gal at the counter said "Rental insurance for this doesn't exist. Trust me, we would be the first to offer it if it did." So we go to Lake Powell for a week and the jet skis come back a little scratched up. He then proceeds to charge us $508 for a few minor scratches. I'm talking a couple of 2 inch scratches on fiberglass. The biggest one was maybe 3 inches long; no gouges, no holes. One gallon of fiberglass resin is $500. We just bought him a gallon of the stuff and he'll use about 2 ounces to repair our jet skis. Even with labor, there is no way this should have cost more than $200. And this is the clincher...he proceeds to tell us that he used to offer rental insurance on the jet skis, but it was so expensive that he couldn't afford it. Buddy, that's the cost of doing business and if you can't afford the cost of doing business, quit. You pass that cost along through your rates - don't charge your customers $500 for a few minor scratches. Bottom line - we were lied to. He flat out said that insurance wasn't available, then said that it's just too expensive so he doesn't want to offer it. Don't trust this business. Go with a more expensive rental place and be confident in their customer service. You get what you pay for. One last thing...when you pick up your jet skis, be prepared to sign a blank credit card authorization form for damages. If nothing else makes you nervous, that should.

Pros: cheap

Cons: dishonest
